I had a white '65 with a red interior. Loved it much more than the '74 Super Beetle I bought new. Easier to keep tuned, much easier to work on. I sure miss that car!

I'm 14 and i bought a 1971 Karmann Ghia. I like it to look stock but with a few additives (ex. white walls, 1 inch lower (for a better ride)) On my channel one day it will be done! 😀 Im glad to see that I am not the only kid that likes old vws 😀

Hey Chris thanks for the reply I actually found a thread on the samba that says the mixtures to make the original colors . I will be giving that mixture to the paint shop today thanks again for the quick reply keep up the great videos !!!!

Gonna be tough with todays colors as most if not all colors today are metallic. If you give the code to your painter of the panama, he should be able to reference that.

How much do you think i would have to pay for a beetle from 58-63. More specifically one with an engine(non running) and the smallest bit of rust. I decided that I really didn't want to ruin a 60's bug by making it a rally car so I want to go with a beryl green, which is my favorite vw color.
Thanks,
Daniel
